Monclova Township was established in 1853 and currently has a population of just over 12,000. The area is part of Anthony Wayne school district, which is in the top 50 of all Ohio school districts. It’s home to some of the most expensive real estate in Northwest Ohio with an average sale price of over $340,000.
Monclova is a great place for golfers with two courses inside the township limits, Brandywine Country Club and Fallen Timbers Fairways. Those who love the outdoors will find plenty to do with the Wabash Cannonball Bike Trail, Fallen Timbers Battlefield Site, numerous neighborhood parks, and the close proximity of Side Cut Metropark, Swan Creek, and Louis W. Campbell State Nature Preserve.
The Shops at Fallen Timbers is an open-air mall with a diverse offering of retailers, restaurants, specialty shops, and a movie theater. Monclova is conveniently close to the Toledo Express Airport and Ohio Turnpike.
