Whitehouse

Whitehouse, Ohio is quickly becoming one of the most desirable and fastest-growing communities in NW Ohio. New developments have been popping up in recent years, but the village remains tranquil as it’s nestled between rural communities with long stretches of scenic routes. Its quaint downtown is lined with small businesses and dining.

Whitehouse is within the Anthony Wayne school district. AW High School has an A grade on the Ohio School Report Card and the district is rated #47 out of Ohio’s 608 school districts.

Whitehouse is the perfect community for nature lovers. Oak Openings Preserve is the largest Toledo Metropark spanning between Whitehouse and Swanton with roughly 5,000 acres. The Nature Conservancy once named the region one of the 200 “last greatest places on Earth.” The Butterfly House, located on Wheeler Farms, is another local treasure that allows visitors to observe over 100 butterfly species throughout the season. Wheeler Farms is also a favorite stop for seasonal events, such as its corn maze and Christmas tree farm.
